Del Mar's Pacifica Del Mar recently completed a $500,000 renovation, bringing a dramatic and updated look to a longtime favorite. According to interior designer David Robinson, the remodel introduces a "refined, yet even more contemporary environment" to the restaurant's already successful venue. "The new design is a very hip, forward-looking style that accentuates Pacifica's casual, fine dining experience." Highlights include an 80-foot-long custom luminaire/chandelier that follows the outline of the signature serpentine bar, high tech metallic silver and gold floor-to-ceiling poly-carbonite panel system walls with a state-of-the-art LED color light show, as well as special effect lighting for the ocean-view patio.
